ShoreLife Community Church is a group of followers of Jesus Christ who see themselves as:

A Community
You will hear a lot of talk about "community" at ShoreLife. We truly believe that the Christian life is best experienced in the context of community - and not alone in isolation. Whenever possible, we place people into "ministry teams" to serve God together, side-by-side. Doing things together is always more fun and encouraging than serving alone.

A Family
The Scriptures teach that God is our Father, and those who place their faith in Jesus are His children. At ShoreLife, we believe that God is a loving and perfect Father to us. Our hope is to become the "family" that God calls us to be. From newborns to senior citizens, we are united as "one family" through our faith in Christ. Therefore, we will work hard to continue maintaining a level of healthy intimacy with each other as we grow spiritually.

A Place To Grow Spiritually
A priority for God's children is to continually grow in our spiritual lives. One of our distinctives at ShoreLife is that we are unafraid to call our people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that the most satisfying, enjoyable, and fulfilling life is attained as we willingly obey the teachings of Jesus Christ. The good news is that God Himself will empower us to fulfill his plans for us by his Spirit. We believe that spiritual growth and commitment to God is normative behavior for God's children. Our passion is also to see our friends and neighbors come to understand God's great love for them in Jesus Christ. We intentionally plan to reach out to those who've never received the grace of God in their lives, and to start new churches as God provides the leaders and resources. Our hope is to raise up leaders and "pioneers" who will go out and begin new churches in our county, and around the globe.

A Place For You
Everybody needs to belong to the body of Christ. This conviction runs deeply within the "DNA" of ShoreLife. Instead of making the Christian life complicated, we prioritize spiritual growth, Biblical community, and reaching out to the lost. Our hope is to see the people in our county transformed from being uninformed and uninterested in Jesus to "fully devoted" followers of Christ.
