The WAVE
Junior High/Middle School

After School Open Gym Mid-Week Meetin'
Every Wednesday 2:30-4:00 pm
We are totally stoked about this time. We get together to hang out, play some crazy games, plan some sick events, plus have some great times talking about what challenges us the most: LIFE!

WAVE Events
Summer beach nights, winter snow trips, camping trips, atomic bowling, bike rides, Road Trips, and more!!!

Community Service Activities
When you hit middle school you run up against many more challenges than you have ever seen or experienced before. If left alone, you'll likely tend to make many wrong choices that lead you down a path that you do not really want to be on. But you don't have the tools or support to do anything different.

By coming to The WAVE we want to help you get the tools necessary to be successful in life. We will help you explore the things you do best and encourage you to get better at them - and all the while having a totally sick time!

High School

Mid-Week Meetin'
Every Wednesday 7-8:30pm
We meet weekly for a discussion-oriented Bible study (i.e. you don't have to raise your hand to speak). Most lessons include games, art projects, drama, or other fun activities. There is plenty of hang-out time and all-you-can-eat snacks and drinks for $1.

SPAM Events
Summer beach nights, winter snow trip, weekend camping trips, movie nights, overnighters, Elkhorn Slough kayaking, and more!!!

Community Service Activities
Elm Street Mission: Our teens volunteer once a month to serve the homeless.
Club Dust: This amazing (annual) summer trip allows teens to build homes for poor families in Mexico.

@ Shorelife: On Sunday mornings, our teens are commonly seen serving in the worship band and on the cafe team. We have also had a few student led services.

Why youth r important
Teenagers face the "trenches" everyday. Our duty is to encourage their faith, give them the tools to remain strong, and teach them how to share God's message. Our teens are a vital part of the ShoreLife community and actively participate in all church ministries. They are not on the sidelines waiting for the church of tomorrow, but are essential members of the church of today.
